Enjoy the real romantic weekend in Florence at Golden Tower Hotel

Here in Italy we are lucky enough to have plenty of beautiful women and plenty of beautiful places to take them. Hoping that they fall in love with us, and not just with the places. It’s easy, after all: all that’s needed are a woman, and a place. So how about a nice romantic weekend in Florence?

It might be playing things dirty. Who could resist you in such a landscape? It’s like being a firefly that shines brighter just because it’s reflecting from a nearby lamppost. A weekend in Florence will certainly have the suggestive charm that few other destinations can manage. Imagine, for example, the marvel of taking her (or him) to the Forte di Belvedere to enjoy the view of the Arno flowing through the heart of the city, with the profile of the Duomo standing out imposingly, that great dome that drove Brunelleschi mad - and the rest of the world as well.

It’s even better if you manage to find the right hotel in Florence that will help keep up with the fairy tale adventure you have in mind, or even improve it.
If you really want to play it safe, Hotel Golden Tower can truly make you live your dreams as reality. This is the tower the Strozzi family had built (and where they lived), a family that had Filippo the Younger as its main representative in fame and authority, and that typified the city’s Renaissance.

When you reach Hotel Golden Tower you can immediately leave your car to our staff, who will collect it and take care of it until the moment of your departure. This way, you will have nothing to worry about during your stay and will only need to think about how lucky you are to be here, just a few steps away from the great marvels of Florence.

Most of all - if you manage to carve some time out for yourselves, with so many things to do and see - you can walk towards Palazzo Pitti, which is about 700 metres away from Hotel Golden Tower, and, just behind the palace, go to the Boboli Gardens. These gardens are extremely large, and their construction was inspired by a variety of styles and artistic and cultural ideas. Essentially, they are in an Italian style but with rather heterogeneous influences.

Seeing Florence from this enchanted garden, full of statues, staircases, caves and fountains, is certainly an unique emotion. There’s no denying it: a true romantic weekend.

From the Hotel Canada in Milan just a walk to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II

Treat yourself with a weekend of relaxation and shopping in Milan, the undisputed capital of fashion from where all European fashion trends start off.
One thing that every shopaholic must visit is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan, which is not just a temple for chic boutiques and shops, but also a fine example of architecture and art that even inspired Gustave Eiffel.

Created from nineteenth-century inspiration, which was in vogue at the time of its construction, this mall has over time become the benchmark for fashion lovers on a par with Via Montenapoleone and Via della Spiga. This is partly due to the famous names that mark the brilliant windows of the mall, like Vuitton and Prada.

The best way to experience it every day is to find a hotel in the centre of Milan like Hotel Canada, whose position will make your stay in the city stress-free.

The comfortable rooms of the hotel are furnished in warm colours, but with care taken to accommodate allergy sufferers, to keep you company during the hours spent relaxing, when you can track your favourite programs on Sky cable TV on LCD screens.
This hotel near the Milan Cathedral is also the ideal base for discovering the rest of the city, which can be easily reached, thanks to its proximity to the major public transport hubs.

In the morning, you will be tempted by the rich sweet and savoury breakfast offered at the hotel, which also caters to the needs of those suffering from food intolerances so that everyone can enjoy a perfect weekend.

It's time of rosè. From 30th of June to 3rd of July and from 29th of August to 8th of September, the city of Siena and then the city of Venice will be animated by Rosé Wine Festival.
An event dedicated to the best of "rosé wine" on the basis of the labels selected during a first national competition of the rosé wines, which was held in April in Bari "This is Red White and Rosé" is the title of the event and wine tastings, pairings and times of deepening are the heart of the event.

Choose Boutique, the downtown Hotel in Florence Golden Tower

What holiday do you want? Have you ever thought of looking for and booking a boutique hotel in Florence? What is it about? It is almost the opposite answer to mass tourism. We say that is the best hub of "niche" tourism, i.e. refined, attentive to the authentic spirit of places, furniture, etc.
Hotels in downtown Florence are already surrounded by wonders; therefore, think about how it would be nice if you could also stay in a hotel meticulous in every tiny detail, which perhaps also contributes to the very spirit of the city, built on history, art and culture.
Maybe saying boutique hotel immediately brings to mind shopping in Florence, considering the many shops along the central streets, dotted with international brands, and in fact if you stay at the 5 star Golden Tower found in Piazza Strozzi, you would have this opportunity, obtaining from staff the indications for two main routes dedicated to great Florentine shopping.
The Golden Tower Hotel is really a boutique hotel, which aims to preserve a unique identity, made of elegance and sophistication. It lies within what was once the home of Filippo Strozzi and the city centre, walking distance from Duomo and the Piazza della Signoria (just 450 meters away) where you will find the sumptuous Palazzo Vecchio, easily distinguishable from its Arnolfo Tower.
A hotel of this level in the centre of Florence will give you the chance to experience a truly dreamlike stay, especially if you consider that there is also a spa, i.e. a wellness centre with heated pool, hydro massage, emotional aromatic showers, sauna, Turkish bath, beauty treatments for the face and body and massages practiced by the skilled hands of highly qualified personnel.
The services and luxury of a 5 star and of Florence: express your desire.
